From been a part of the The Swedish Society of Cardiologist, the Swedish Resuscitation Council was formed as an independent society in 2004.
The Swedish Resuscitation Council's obejctive is to:
-create, revise and develop guidelines for cardiac arrest treatment
-create, revise and develop educational manuals
-create, revise and develop ethical guidlines related to cardiac arrest
-spread knowledge about CPR and cardiac arrest within the society and the health care organisations.
